back to SHOW DIARIES

Rainy Thursday shows are not known for setting attendance records. And this show was no exception.
But the crowd that was there was loud and appreciative, so that's good.

Trench Run put on a good show, including an excellent cover of "Subdivisions", by
the greatest band in not only Canada but, indeed, the entire world.

It was good to see them again. The last time we played with them was at our CD release party over a year ago.

Then we took to the stage. We started out with the cryptically-titled "940.547'243" and everything was going well
until some idiot tripped on a cable that some other idiot neglected to move out of the way.

This resulted in a couple of pieces of Steve's synth rig saying "Hello, Gravity! What's this thing you're
introducing me to? I'll call it 'The Ground'. I hope it will be my friend!"

Sadly, it was not.

Nothing was damaged, however, and after a quick re-plugging in of some cables, we were back underway. The rest
of the show went pretty well, and we soon left the whole nasty incident behind us. Now it's nothing but a
painful memeory.

Thanks for bringing it up, dick.
